It's the patches and updates that will eat your bandwidth up. The xbox tells you how much bandwidth it's using in the settings. Depending on your settings your system will download updates/patches in the background which can eat up a lot of data. Also it seems like every game that's online requires some type of dayone patch, and if you don't download it you won't be able to play online.

What the games is as a whole is unclear. I know the game generates worlds and you go visit them. What is the driving force to get out there and explore the universe is what's unclear. What do you do once you've found a new world is also unclear. As the game looking cool I have no clue what type of game experience you will have playing it.

Dont know why, the ps3 was custom from head to toe. It was a bit of the old school way of making a gaming system. Build everything from ground up and use separate memory like the system of the past. The ps4 and x1 today have a cpu/gpu in one chip. unified memory and are almost the same parts expect the ps4 far superior ram and beefier gpu. The x1 has a faster cpu. Aside from the software both sony and Microsoft were on the same page hardware wise.

Cant tell you why sony chose to build the ps3 the way it did. Without all the hardware and programming difficulties of the ps3, the ps4 would've been far different. They wanted to build a system easy to program for something developers wanted. Without the ps3 the ps4 probably would've been some highly customized over complicated system only sony could program for well.

There is something called a serial number. Its on the box the system and the receipt. If you try that you could be brought up on theft charges. Your best bet is call sony or reset your ps4.

@tmorri603: eb games was a far better company, I miss them. You could buy a game and return it if it was a bad game for a different one. I imagine this could hurt profits, but it saved me from a few really bad games.

My experience with game stop and the reason I dont give my business to them anymore.

I bought the 360 elite when it first came out from GS. The system at the time was $500. I got it home and it rrod on me with-in 2 hours of having it. I took it back to game stop to exchange it. One problem, they sold me the last system they had. So I asked for a refund, no go there because they cant give refunds on open merchandise.

The same staff who sold me the system was still working. The manager tells me I had to wait until the next shipment to get a new elite. To sum it all up I had to wait a week until they got new systems in. Had this been a Wal-Mart, target or any other big retailer they would have given me a full refund without issue. I refuse to ever do business with them again and the truth is I dont need to.

I could be wrong but I believe if you hold the ps button select devices, you can change if game audio comes out of your headset or not. I'd give it a try, since Bluetooth, single ear peace wired headphones have been in less demand. Finding a quality one may be difficult.

High res textures and bigger game files. Think of it this way a 360 game 8gig on disk, now games of today have bloated to 50gigs. That alone means load times will be slowed down. Once developers learn to optimize The systems load times will hopefully improve. On ps3/360 developers could read off the disk and hdd and get optimal load times. On the ps4/xb1 they are limited to the cheap hdd built-in the systems. You can improve your load times by installing a sshd yourself.
