Microsoft destroyed not just their own image, but the image of the Xbox with the May 2013 reveal of the Xbox One. That damage is irreversible, and drove even the most die-hard Xbox fans to make the switch to the PS4 (I am in this group). The Kinect 2.0 certainly isn't doing them any favors, either. Rather than acknowledging that people do not want to be forced to buy a peripheral, not an essential piece of hardware, a peripheral for an extra $100, they outright, openly said "Too bad, lol." In this day and age, the Internet is a powerful force, and can help or completely hinder, and after the May 2013 reveal, it was relentless.

They have Titanfall, but so does any PC, even potato-powered ones like my own. Halo is past its prime, and Fable has been long-dead. Their cloud servers, "Azure" is not the be-all-end-all of online gaming, or of computing, and game developers see this and choose to use their own architecture and servers.

Is the PS4 ahead of the Xbox One? By leaps and bounds. Will the Xbox One come around? Titanfall may help for a while, but it's looking bleak. If EA decides to release the sequel to Titanfall on the PS4 as well, we just may hear the death rattle of Xbox.

The "knockout game" is extremely dangerous. It can cause severe cranial nerve damage leading to debilitation, brain bleeding, or worse. Permanent brain damage and death isn't funny. I plan on getting my CHL, and if some idiot tries to play knockout game with me or my loved ones if they're with me at the time, I won't hesitate to shoot them.

This video only further vindicated my sentiments. Yep. Still feels like Titanfall is Call of Duty with mechs.

Nintendo seems to refuse to believe or accept that it isn't 1990 anymore. Things are different now. Refusing to adapt is what has brought them to this imperiled state. While the company will always have a group of devoted fans who enjoy good party games (including the annoying sect of this group that cries about their nostalgia 24/7 and loudly hates on everything that isn't nostalgic or a carbon-copy of what they played in the 1990s), a large portion of Nintendo fans have grown tired of seeing the same characters being reused over and over in nigh-identical titles or re-releases.

People are actually pretty tired of Mario, Zelda, and Pokemon, it may be time to let those games rest for a while, and try to think of new, innovative and entertaining IPs. Nintendo's current state has proven that mouth-frothing nostalgia simply won't carry them through the new decade.

I'd just like to see Reggie's annoying smug attitude stripped from him.

No, Reggie, you don't have the best games. You have innumerable, slightly-changed iterations of Mario, Pokemon, and Zelda titles. Throwing in an occasional re-release of Metroid and Animal Crossing doesn't change that.

@JLCrogue You can hide behind your little screen and spout self-contradictory nonsense all day just to illicit an angry response from other people whom you know you'll never have the conviction of seeing face-to-face, but that's really all you are, all you have, and all you can do. You are a coward. A self-entitled, pompous brat who will say anything to pursue your own interests.

You really don't believe there is a cure for cancer, as your featured comment clearly stated. You can backtrack all you wish with one of the most horrendously inaccurate internet websites with zero evidence to back anything up, but it doesn't change anything about you, Crogue.

You and I both know you'd never have the balls to say these things to people in person, and though you have the freedom to keep up the act all you wish, it will never change a thing. You clearly have never seen what cancer does to people first-hand, nor do you have any idea what cancer actually is.

Continue to hide behind your screen, you know you're a lying coward. The fact that you have to contradict your own statements to keep your argument going shows that even you know that you've already defeated yourself, as if defeating your rhetoric needed any assistance to begin with.

PR move or not, this is a large sum of money donated to one of the most under-funded and prominent causes world wide. Cancer is not something that you people can just shrug off as "Oh, marijuana cures it!" It doesn't. Leave that bandwagon. You might want to get out of the anti-immunization boat while you're at it.

If, if, a cure for cancer has been found and it has been kept secret (I have no interest in conspiracy posts, so don't bother posting them), then there is already a very, very special place in hell waiting for each and every person who has made efforts to keep it from getting to the patients that need it.

Get a freakin' grip people. Countless families have to go through day-and-night horror, pain, and fear, and possibly tragedy because of cancer, and you people get pissed off because a sum of money didn't go to fueling your hobby? It's quite clear to see who has never gone through battling cancer or watched a loved one fall victim to it.

To repeat what Johnny said: Get a grip, you over-entitled brats.

@VoidSECT @franky111 Working to earn legitimately without a microtransaction system in place is a game that functions entirely differently than one that has such system. The most comparable aspects would be the "grind time."

"Acquiring the best cars is either a time-consuming grind or a major expense"

That, ladies and gentlemen, sums up everything wrong with microtransactions in a full-retail, $60 game. If they're in the game, the entire game will be centered around punishing you until you're convinced that paying more money is the best way to progress.
