A lot of the items that you need to find are just well hidden or above/below where the icon is on the map, for example the 'family rifle' quest's rifle is in an underground section of the map by a load of trashed cars and junk, not on the surface next to the buildings which is where it appears to be on the map.

What do people mean when they say 'better', in what way?

Its pretty easy to do it yourself, as long as you use your common sense. You just slot things into their slots and off you go! As long as you read the manuals and are careful you'll have no probs.

Deus ex 1, one of my favourite games ever. Deus Ex 2? Poor. They dumbed it down massively for the consoles, the same ammo for every gun, what were they thinking!?

Intel believes that separate graphics cards will die out and eventualy be replaced by multi-core CPU's, where the extra cores will do the work that a GPU does now. Looks like multi-core (i.e 4+) is the future, say goodbye to that dual you just bought, the time of the quads is coming closer(ish)! I can't see discreet GPU's dying soon, but hopefully soon devs will start to use those extra 2 cores on quad cores now, such as dedicating the extra cores for specific tasks, such one for physics, one for A.I etc. Thoughts?

I'd keep that processor and save the cash for a decent graphics card (9600gt is good bang for the buck). I'm running an 3800 X2 socket 939 (gasp!) which does not even match the TC's processor but manages to keep up with all the newest games when coupled to my 8800GT.

Intel and nVidia are not in a 'partnership' with each other, on the contrary they will soon be direct competitors as intel is planning to enter the GPU market with its own Larrabee GPU. nVidia has nothing to do with intel, which is demonstrated by nVidias reluctance to license their SLI tech for intel chipsets, as well as their own GPU roadmap.

looks like I'll go for the DS3L then. Ill see if I can squeeze in a Q9450 with the money saved from the asus board and the cash I got paid yesterday for selling bottles of WKD to drunken idiots ;) . Will I have to do a BIOS flash to get the new 45nm quad to boot do you know?

Hmm thanks for the tips on the gigabyte board, the DS3L is quite a bit cheaper than the asus, and will overclock as well you say? The gigabyte naming system isn't exactly clear on the differences between the models, could someone explain what the differences between the DS3P, DS3L, DS3R and the P35C-DS3R and DS4 are!! The descriptions are all very simiar apart from mentioning crossfire support for a couple of models, but that doesnt explain why there are 5 boards all with very different prices, very confusing.

It's everyones favourite time, it's new build time! Looking for your opinions on the following combo:

Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 LGA775 'Yorkfield' 2.50GHz 6MB-cache (1333FSB) Processor

OCZ 2GB (2x1GB) PC2-6400C4 Dual Channel Platinum Revision 2 XTC Series DDR2

Asus P5K-E WiFi Intel P35 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

Coolermaster Real Power 520w Modular Power Supply

Using an Asus 8800GT from my old rig.

Suggestions? I'm upgrading from a two year old:

Athlon X2 3800

2GB DDR 400

8800GT

400w PSU

I wont be doing any overclocking at first, maybe in a few months.

How much of an improvement do you think I'll see, FPS wise, I'm not bothered about an extra zero on my 3DMark score :P

Thanks..
