@Jebus213: It's a non issue on consoles, they play 30 fps much smoother than on pc. Even if frametimes are locked down on pc, it's still nowhere near the console 30 fps experience.

Gameplay, audio and graphics (Art style and lighting over resolution) are equally important to me. Framerate probably least important, anything at least 30 fps works for me.

@robertoenrique: They're extremely accurate. Use the included software for your monitor and hcfr if you want to calibrate a tv not connected to a pc.

i1d3 is an excellent colorimeter and because it's sealed doesn't deviate over time as much as original i1.

@benny_boy98: Without a colorimeter, I would suggest just setting black/white level with a pluge pattern and forget it.

It's pointless going into white balance as it is impossible to set accurately by eye. Don't use settings you find on the internet because each screen is unique. The point of calibration is to have an objectively reference screen, not a subjectively better one.

You may find a properly calibrated screen very disappointing, it's purpose is not what most people assume it to be.

For reference I have all my screens at home calibrated with an i1 display pro and have been calibrating for about 5 years. I will say that colour calibration is an absolute necessity in printing, more so in product photography which is what I do.

Horizon and Zelda both look epic. Too bad I don't own a PS4 or Wii U.
