Ok. So right now, I have a relatively nice gaming PC, and have been able to play most games on medium-high settings. I have noticed however that with current-gen games(xbone and ps4), it has been lower quality, and there has been a lot of lag. Unfortunately, it is a gaming laptop, and so it is not upgradable. I do not have a lot of money right now(I'm in high school, I don't work very often). Should I buy a ps4 in order to keep up with current-gen games, or save for a new PC?

For me, I can only play story driven games. I feel that when you only play games online, everything ends up repeating itself, and the gameplay elements become repetitive, therefore requiring you to buy DLC, such as map packs. Story driven games, however, have that same gameplay while engaging you and giving you something new at each and every turn. While story games are barely replayable, online games are, which is why a balance is needed. Personally, I do not like them, however I can see why people do. Games like bioshock have an incredibly engaging story while succeeding in creating a game that is worth playing in it's gameplay core. When a balance between the two is found, then it is something beautiful. Otherwise, it can be one way or the other, and that all depends on preference.
I don't understand the hype about phone games. Personally, I see them as an enormous waste of time. For me, gaming is a means of escape, to release stress, and literally these games just build it. Not only that, but the majority of these games support the ever growing market of micro-transactions, a type of payment that I resent fully.
I think that there should be no boundaries or ranks for gamers. A community of people should be able to come together to enjoy something they all love, instead of fighting about who is better, or supposed ranks. However, if I had to define it, it would be someone who is truly passionate about what they do, as with any hobby.
Now that 2K is in charge of Bioshock, what do you think of the future of the series? Personally, I don't think it will do nearly as well, mostly due to Ken Levine not being involved, and the success of Bioshock 2, but I could be wrong. Post your opinions!
I have never been a huge fan of Fallout, but I am an avid Elder Scrolls player. I love fantasy, and the world simply is much more immersive and enjoyable to me.
I'm really excited for the multi-player aspect. That looks like it will be a lot of fun. The game itself looks great too, however I do think your worries are warranted.
