Mildly annoying but don't really care, I'm sure later models will have an on/off (or not at all for the generic knockoff version) . It might be kind of irritating if you're playing in a dark room?
Even if her job was ruined by bad management it's pretty unprofessional for her to call them out on it like this, especially after getting the tech as severance. Especially in an industy like this it's never a good idea to burn bridges. It'd have been a lot better if she just said she left because of “creative differences” (blanket term for being fired) and started talking about her future projects instead of complaining about what's already happened.
I'm getting a PS4 because of it's exclusives and the consistently high quality of their products(my launch ps3 lasted numerous trips between america and europe until it eventually got crushed by nobgoblin luggage handlers). I used to have both a 360 and PS3 and eventually gave my 360 to a friend because I really had no interest in their exclusives/online/other functions and why would I need a second console that I barely used? Nintendo never has interested me in the past and nothing about their future plans looks like its going to change that.
Why would you even want to stop console wars? When you have two (alright, three...) products that are performing extremely similar functions for a similar audience a strong degree of competition can only make things better for everyone. Nearly every fanboy has to be aware on some level that if they were to ever actually get their magical dream of their chosen brand being the one and only it won't be very long before that company starts doing things they don't like.
All console wars are doing is showing that this is a topic that people feel very strongly about and have a lot of passion for. And think of the other positive: you take that sort of interest and combine it with the anonymity of the internet and you can get some pretty good entertainment (as seen by the over 300+ comments in less than a few hours)
ridiculously overpriced and somewhat underpowered for the insane cost. Like a lot people 've pointed out, you can get a better desktop for 40% of the price.
bought my ps3 60gb at launch from a scalper for $680 and played resistance which i hated but that was all they had. still can't believe i ever paid that much for a console. or that 60gb was ever considered a decent amount of space. damnit, now i feel old...
