Does anybody knows if i play, let's say, GTA V on xbox series x would i be able to play with someone on xbox one?

Most people didn't even know that town existed (myself included) until today, so yes, that publicity is kind of good. And it's not like people are going to google some GTA district names to see if there are some real places named like that

I'm on the fence of buying a PS4 or the Xbox One and it will depend largely on how both consoles handle used games and the "check once a day" of the Xbox One (the PS4 has something like that too?) but I definitely will get a Wii U

I really like my Xbox 360 and i was looking forward to the xbox one, but if they do this, and that other thing about requiring to connect to the internet at least once a day i might just buy the PS4 instead
