The number of people who can't seem to think rationally about this game makes me sad for the future of this country. I have made over 15 dollars so far, not spending a dime; I have a friend who has made over 100. In the news recently was someone who made over 10,000, but I presume he also had real capital to work with.

Also, being always-online and having an RMAH were both ADVERTISED features of the game. If you don't like it, you shouldn't have paid the 60 in the first place. I think you're all EA fanboys who've been brainwashed into hating any company owned by Activision, but that's neither here nor there, just my opinion.

@VAMPYREANGELUS It's not an MMO. No diablo game has ever been an MMO. They have all been 1-4 player arcade action RPG's in a hack'n'slash roguelike style. In keeping with the cooperative multiplayer arcade aspect, Diablo 3 requires an online connection. The previous games did as well if you were playing a character you wanted to be able to take into cooperative games. There is every bit as much content here as previous games, if not more. People's expectations have simply changed. If you go into this game expecting a continuation of the series' development since the beginning, I don't believe it's possible to be significantly disappointed.

@BlowingBlizzard No, I just play games for enjoyment. I choose not to get emotionally invested in them as you clearly have done.

@Kryptonbornson I guess I do just get something out of it you don't, I'm sorry to have come across as hostile. I like the game, it's pretty much what I was expecting, with the exception of the skill system; although really that expectation was shattered months ago in casual reading about the game.

@dlt0028 You are a fool if you think a game's success and it's quality are in any way related. You are also a fool if you think a reviewer's credibility is based upon his or her opinion of a single product, regardless of "popular consensus" [which, I believe you might find if you polled the people NOT screaming and foaming at the mouth on forums, is that the game is pretty good anyway].

@smoogmz Look at forums, all over the world people are saying things that make most people want to curl up into a fetal position and never touch the internet again. And this has nothing to do with Diablo. The only thing degrading is that you come on here actually leveling personal insults at people for enjoying something.
