@Kryptonbornson What sounds crazy to me is, you almost seem to have figured out a way that works for you to play the game and enjoy it, but rather than do so you go on forums and nitpick every little thing that caused you difficulties, and team up with other disappointed fans against the innocent developers.
Ironically, an 8.5 is pretty well in keeping with the reviews that the original Diablo got upon release. It took a couple of years, and the incredible avalanche of support from playing on battle.net, the first time an arcade experience like that was available from the solitude of one's own computer (provided you had a modem and preferably a bag phone to forward your house calls into.. sorry kids if you have no idea what this sentence means). Then everyone claimed to have loved the game from the beginning, especially by the time Diablo 2 came out. Then, everyone jumped down Blizzard's throat about pretty much every aspect of that release. By the time people adjusted to the online playstyle of that one, and the expansion came out, it got a better rap, but honestly for me - a DIE HARD diablo fan - I didn't even get into Diablo 2 until several years after release. I never thought it captured the magic of the original.
Now we have Diablo 3 which falls somewhere in between.
Everyone will do well to remember that things look very different through the lens of history.
