I like the idea of NPC's responding to your actions. It did seem rather stupid that you could run around with your gun out and they say nothing. I love the idea of the pop up screen too, could make gameplay speed up a little.
Maybe sports games and shooters based in historic facts need to have realistic graphics to portray their content, but if all games tried to be realistic it would just be boring. Then again, that's just my opinion.Aurey
I couldn't agree more Aurey, I just felt that the graphics could have been improved slightly then again I guess that defeats the whole image of the games. Let's face it your never going to see facial damage or blood in a DOA game. I just hope that when DOA5 does come (as I believe it will) it shows why the franchise is so well deserved.
Less technical issues with frame skips, a better menu system and less generic planets with more populated areas.

Yeah the frame skip was a bit of a problem. Then again that can be fixed. I was kinda disappointed that you didn't have the opportunity to visit the modern earth, or any of the other planets in the solar system. Would be kinda cool to drive the Mako on Mars.

It's varied to be honest. Sometimes I'll find a really hard opponent then other days I'll find lots of beginners. Most of the Japanese players are pretty hot so watch out for them lol.
Very true. Maybe different layouts with the buildings on those planets cos the layout was always the same. However DLC would fix a lot of these issues. With DLC you could have a different experience every time.

It's one of the best, but not THE best. They really haven't improved it that much from DOA3. Don't get me wrong I've loved DOA ever since the first one on the Sega Saturn. But the graphics need a huge overhaul, not that graphics make a great game.
Keep the elevators' cos the voice over was cool, plus like many have said it was a mask for a loading screen. Also it was a good way of unlocking missions. Maybe have the ability to pick up and use downed enemy's weapons. I'd like to see more of an emphasis on the reapers and their origins.
I kind of hated the dull exploration. Same types of planets no change. The brighter planets were nice though like the maroon clusters ones. And yeah I'd like the names of the weapons/armours to change.
