@lostn: Agreed. I would be truly dumbfounded if they somehow make their exclusive into multiplatform. The advantages of Sony over MS is great exclusives. You porting it around, hoping to make a few bucks is essentially digging your own grave.
I'm truly surprised that it took them this long to realize that Insomniac is one of their best developer. Why they didn't buy Insomniac out until now escapes me...
@Barighm: We agree with you, but the investors can't be bother to give a shit lol. If the game turned out to be a piece of turd and underperformed, they will just pull out and invest in other things. Most investors never care about long term planning or reputation of the company or shit like that, they just want their money, and fast.

This can only work if you are not required to pay for the game on top of the subscription a.k.a Xbox Game Pass but on the cloud. Anyone with half a brain will see that a console or a PC will last you for years to come, but buying into this means that just about 3 years of subscription will run you more than the price of a specialize gaming console/pc, not to mention you can do so much more with consoles and especially PC in general, while if you pay for this you can only game.
That's just one of the many problem of this and it's enough to make me not wanting to buy into it.
