Wow I thought the game was Diablo 3 when watching the gameplay video above. Are they seriously trying that hard to copy the D3 aesthetic? The damage numbers is the same. The UI is the same. Hell even how the map is shown is also the same. What happened to innovation?
@justthetip: Do you think the watch is worth 2500$ without touching it in person? I don't have a lot of experience with watches, but I've seen some better looking and more classy for 2k and lower...
@Tekarukite: 1.2B$ spent for yearly games that hardly need development time and some standalone title. Either they are grossly mismanaging their fund or gaming is not all that profitable anymore, and microtransaction is, as sad as it looks, the real way forward for this industry.
@sippio: I mean they have to find some way to entice people to pay for the subscription continously. Or else people will just buy it for like a month or 3 and play through the whole offerings.
The amount of shit that you have to pay to access the freaking game baffled me. How is any sensible adult interested in this? Not mentioning the entry cost, just the data bill is a fortune in and of itself. Unless you absolutely have to bring your game with you on the go (not even in every occasion either, you still need good Wi-Fi) then this seems like a hard sell.
And no, I don't think gaming on the go is much for me. I'd prefer to be in the comfort of my home.
