I am running it on C2D E6600@stock, 2GB RAM, 8800 GTX, whit all settings on high, no AA, 8xAF in 1680x1050 and i am getting from 18-40FPS. Seems ok?

I wonder if anyone really need very high settings. Can anyones PC even handle very high? Most of 8800 GTX user has screens around 20-22", so 1680x1050, 1600x1200 resolution. So how will they run game on very high settings if you would get 15-20FPS like that? Its obviously not worth to upgrade to vista. XP runs game faster, and yes you can get Very high settings on Vista, which you cant under XP (unless you use hack), but tell me, who is even gona run very high settings, when performance is as it stands. 15FPS!!!! Can any of you play FPS at that framerate? Only ppls whit 8800 GTX SLI, or more will be able to run game on very high settings, and that is only in resolution of 1600x1200. Not to mention that MOST of 8800 GTX SLI users have screens which are 24" or more, and everything is clear... Almost nobody will be able to run this game at very high settings, whit current hardware on their LCDs native resolution. And especially not under Vista...

DX10 version have better particle effects like smoke, and reflections on water. Nothing else.

OMG. If developers sad that 8800 GTS and C2D whit 2GB will be enough for ultra high settings, than we should belive that. And you guys are here talking how no current card will play this game on high settings. If 8800 GTX cant run that game maxed out at at least 1600x1200 whit 4xAA and 16xAF, than PC gaming is screwed, and no other card will run it not even on high settings in DX9. DX10 version wont look much better than DX9 but it will look pretty much the same except some DX10 special features. The main point of DX10 is in optimization not in improving image quality drasticaly. And i suggest you wait for actual game to come out and than judge how well it runs. I saw you guys being soo non-impressed about DX10 demos which are out. Liek Call of Juarez. Did somebody of you actualy saw DX9 benchmarking of that game? 8800 GTX gets around 30-40 FPS whit all settings maxed out in DX9, so i think that optimization of taht game is VERY crappy.

They had 6 months, and their new card cant compete whit nvidia champion. That is poor. Really sad.

Man i need to get 20" LCD. It is a big difference betwen 1280x1024 and 1600x1200.

My PC: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 2 GB RAM Geforce 8800 GTX Runs greta on maximum settings in 1280x1024. How much average FPS do you get in that performance test? I get 120 FPS on maximum settings.
