@SupaTrupa: I see what you mean. I guess the only solution would be to find a system that has the greatest quantity of the resources you need for base building, then build there. I trophied platinum in the original game but haven't played since, is it worth going back now?

I liked the game and thought it was worth the money I spent on it. Looking forward to the update.

I platinumed the game and enjoyed doing it. It was different and a relief from the sequelitis that permeates the industry. Wasn't the greatest game ever made, but not as bad as the haters on Reddit made it out to be.

@eterpay: Yes, I think you're right. If it is a galaxy, most likely there will be a black hole at the center, and due to the enormous level of radiation, it's unlikely that advanced life wou be found there. It is the back-water areas (like earth's location), where you will find advanced life.

@gamingdevil800: Sorry, current cosmological theory postulates there is no "center" of the Universe. Instead, everywhere is the "center", since the Universe has no edge and is the same in all directions.

@shad0wmoses: Check out the Eurogamer review for a thoughtful, well written and discriptive review of the game.

Thought GS would give this game a 8, and they did. I would give it a 9, just 'cause it's so damn beautiful. I have no problem with gameplay - every game has it's quirks, and you adjust to them. Wasn't sure if I would go for the dlc, but now I'm looking forward to it. It's especially great that we have a new triple A title that doesn't suck.
