@DiverseGamer I doubt it. They don't expect everyone to make the switch on day one, which is why they are continuing the support. As the price of production gets cheaper and the prices drop, they will expect more sales in the long run.

Basically, if you hard drive breaks, you can re-download it for no additional cost as long as you sign into your profile that you purchased it on. As far as the Xbone is concerned, it doesn't look like there is anyway to play those 360 titles on the Xbone

It's not that the PS2 sold better, but the PS2 sold so many consoles, that it would still be profitable for devs to develop games for it. long after the PS3 was released. Even if they had games in production for the PS2, there have been plenty of times when they would scrap it for the next gen (Perfect Dark for example) if they didn't see any profit from it. If you offered support for 5 extra years, it is not because devs had support for it

@Latiran @Stevo_the_gamer it wasn't that, it was simply because they didn't sell a whole bunch of Xbox's. There are a lot more people with a 360 compared to the 1stbox.

Good, because I'm considering not upgrading consoles right now and just stick with the 360 and just upgrade my pc.
