I think the problem with Watch Dogs is that there's too much on-screen guidance and information, which results in feeling like you're being hand-held through the game.... or better yet, like you're traveling through a maze with directions that tell you how to get out. It feels more like you're doing a set of tasks/chores than exploring and discovering.
I will always respect other's opinions because no game ever made is going to please everyone... but I cannot take a review like this seriously when the reviewer has only played for 25 hours, only killed 5 out of a total of 31 bosses (including optional bosses) and didn't beat the game. That may have been enough to determine that the game wasn't for him but it's nowhere near enough to even consider reviewing it.
When I first saw previews for this game I was expecting that it was going to be a bust. I'm so glad I was wrong. This might just be the first game I purchase when I get my PS4 in a couple of weeks. =)
It's unfortunate that the game has as many problems as it does because I really like the way it looks. The setting and environments are the kind that make me want to explore.
