@Darkfall_05 @dgnr82cool I understand that most people have to choose one or the other. But the point is, one can do so based on the GAMES of a system, based on the features of a system. When someone buys a car, they don't immediately go online bashing the other brands for idiotic reasons, and then get into flame wars with the customers of those other car companies... It's only in gaming.
@DeViLzzz happened with the wiiU too. Anytime you buy a new PC, the chance that you will get some malfunction out of the box is there too. If you buy at launch, that's part of the risk, the learning curve.
@Lil_Burrit0 @PartyGavinParty Actually, I remember a Sony exec saying just before the $600 "launch" of the ps3, saying "consumers would buy anything we slap a playstation label on." Sony has had the market cornered on arrogance for a lot longer. Microsoft got force fed a lot of humility after the RROD incident. The ceo they put in place for the development cycle of the x1 went with some bad policy decisions, and he was replaced, as were his policies.
You notice their comment was about the changes made to the policies. They can't KNOCK the new policy, so they just reference the old one was a bad one. They can't knock the launch lineup of X1, they can't knock its features, so they went with the political jab... "They're flip-floppers."
Fact is, the X1 has been pre-ordered just as heavily according to amazon and gamestop. As of July. The policy change worked.
I preordered mine in july, and will buy a ps4 in a few months, once I know just how much of the old-school stuff I get to stream. Both have awesome capabilites, and anyone who picks a side is a tool bag
Gamestop has stopped taking preorders for Xboxone in my area as of last week. Probably just covering their a$$es in case there aren't enough of either Xboxone or ps4 produced for the launch period.
