Homelessness does not always lead to a path of thievery.

entropyecho
Yeah... it's usually the other way around.

What kind of high-paying job do you honestly think you're going to snag out of college?

airshocker
You'd be surprised. Some engineering stuff pays pretty decent out of college. I mean... assuming you're not married and you don't have a kid, you could be living pretty rich right out of college.

Eisbrecher

They're good. If you like Rammstein, you'll like 'em. They're first cd is amazing (entitled Eisbrecher). They're second one is ok... not as great. It's called Antikörper. They're 3rd cd is good. It is called Sünde.

If you want to sample some of their music, I would suggest you try to listen to Schwarze Witwe (Black Widow). That'll give you a pretty good idea of what they sound like. It's German hard rock by the way.

It's probably a conspiracy... Not a coincidence.

I had an ethereal projection once before too. I had just came back home after getting some taco bell (6 hard tacos and 1 mexican pizza) and I sat down on the couch to each it. I put 5 packs of that "fire" hot sauce on one of the tacos, and I bit into it. Then I started to think I was in Mexico and there were all these Mexican guys with sombreros playing happy salsa music and they were like dancing around and stuff. Then some lady came up to me and asked if I needed more tacos. I looked down and saw that I had like an entire Taco Bell feast on the table I was sitting at so I just said, "No thanks." She apparently didn't know english cause she then brought me some more anyways.

That's when I woke up and found I had fallen face first into my taco and my cat was standing up on the tv tray licking the taco wrapper. Apparently I had just fallen asleep as I started to eat cause I hadn't slept in 3 days.

Oh yeah. I Robot was great, and I liked I Am Legend a lot too. Good choices! Don't forget Men in Black (the first one).

So I am a freshman in college and I am doing a business major at the moment but I really don't know what I want to be. I thought I'd do something in business because i've been in many business classes but I guess it's just boring to me.

What I LOVE:

History (It just fascinates me)

The world (different countries are fascinating, I would love to visit many countries)

Nutrition

Sports

Entertainment (movies, video games, media, etc...)

Extremely high paying job

What I hate:

Math

Long hours (I'd like around 40-50 hours a week)

Math

Math

Desk job

Any ideas?

Blazerdt47

Here's an idea. You're already doing business stuff, so it'd be less trouble for you to build off of that, but you said you like other countries. Why don't you minor in a foreign language and try to get some sort of business job where you are in charge of a certain foreign territory. Learn spanish, french, or german and you will become an asset.

Really, if you learn a foreign language, you are more valuable no matter what job you end up with. So, maybe you want to drop the business stuff altogether. You could do a double major history/foreign language. I think those would probably go together relatively well in terms of credits. The only downside is that there are not many jobs where history would be that useful. "Writer" or "teacher"are the only ones that come to mind.

You said you wanted a high paying job... unfortunately, most of the high paying jobs are either highly technical like engineering(usually involves a lot of math) or they are business-oriented (business owner, manager, etc). It's not impossible, but it is more difficult to make a fortune in a non-technical non-business oriented field.

Doesn't the term iPad feel kind of feminine?

What's going to be the next iteration, the Maxi iPad?

Just saying...

waffle57

It is a feminine pad isn't it? I thought that is what it was... if not, then WTH is it?

iPad

I can't believe you guys are posting about genetics...when I've made the point that congenital limb disorders are not passed down four times now. As an person with that condition, believe it or not, I would know.majoras_wrath

Read this

The article notes that often times it is caused by a point mutation (it wasn't inherited from either parent), but it also indicates that once you have it, it's in your DNA. It does also say though, that although it is in your DNA, that does not always mean you will pass it on to kids.

In short, it says you are correct in a lot of cases, and not correct in some cases.

Edit: And my summary is very broad there. It depends on what gene was modified and which condition you have.
