Honestly to me this looks like it has been done before, but hey you never know I could be wrong. I don't really think it looks bad, but it doesn't seem to be bringing anything new to the table.

There's a pretty interesting article in Newsweek about the potential this device has and the industries it could affect, but it of course depends on how many people buy the thing.

EDIT well 499, wow apple you have stepped up to this even though its the entry level one. 700 bucks for the 64GB drive

I really like the whole "Carry thousands of books around with you bit" but again I can do that with my laptop. Still I like that one of the biggest companies in the world is pushing to go green when it comes to books.
