It's funny because the majority of gamers are over their 20's - and they're still making games that have a Teen rating or have a development time spam that's shorter than a high school project. It's like they feel the customers are just a bunch of anime watching, comic book reading, warhammer collecting, drug abusing manchildren.

Connecting audio with an Ipod LOD (google it up) isntead of using the ipod headphone out port, makes the sound SO SO much better.

Really?

I liked BF2142 because the system was just better for leveling. It's just sad going to the lowest ping server and getting banned because I was owning with the soldier name Brutal ButtPounding

I'm not sure if Australians have a lot of BF2 servers, but the game is still in pretty good shape. You can also try Battlefield 2142 which has an easier reward system because you get more points if you accomplish orders by your squad leader (Killing someone where you're ordered to assault gets you bonus squad points for increasing your rank etc. etc.).

BeyerDynamic DT770 PRO 80 Ohm.

If the sound quality doesn't get you, the build quality will.

Get a BeyerDynamic DT770 PRO 80 Ohm. The damn thing is nearly indestructible. Believe me, I rarely take care of my headphones, and all my old plastic Sony/Panasonic/whateverbrand headphones broke within 6 months. I leave this baby on the floor because I barely have to worry about it. And the sound quality is superb.

This looks like a stealth marketing thread. And anyone that considers Skullcandy to be anything besides a fashionable brand (Which is lame) needs to get their mental health cheched, and their bank account checked.

Audioengine A2's

Probably the best 2 speaker system for the PC for it's price.
