OP I think you may be putting too much thought into this. Take a breath and remember it's just video games we're talking about here. Also Microsoft still has slim pickings with first party; it all sort of balances out.

@PikminWorld: Nothing to see here folks, don't feed the troll.
May not be adored 20 years from now but the hardware and games will gain value. There will be few in the wild and we can see how Nintendo games hold their value especially when you consider that some of them are really good.
I agree with the folks that say Montreal, I didn't have a good experience there
You shouldn't say, "we can all agree" so much. This is the internet after all. I for one don't agree with most of what you wrote.
The thing is, the same could be said for most teams championship runs. 94-95 rockets? No Jordan. 92-93 bulls? No magic, injured bird. 96-98 bulls weak eastern conference, central location geography means shorter flights less lag. One can nitpick the champion all they want, the only thing people will remember is that they won it all and that Steph Curry was great.
"Games are the pinnacle of human creativity" I have to say you lost me there. It did make me literally lol though.
I say Uniracers from the Snes. Sure today you would be more likely to find its type of gameplay on a phone or tablet, but if you did it would certainly fit in with something you would find today.
If video games ceased to exist, I would be bummed out for a while, but if films ceased to exist, I think part of my soul would die.
It's not that you won't have any time at all, just be prepared to be interupted a lot. So that kind of rules out a good deal of multiplayer. What I am saying is, if it doesnt have a pause button you probably shouldn't play it. The issue that I contend with now that my kids are a bit older is mature content. I play those only after the kids are in bed at night, or while they are at school if I should have the day off.
