I read the preview on Gamepro. Yeah I know, Gamepro sucks, but I subscribe to every game mag anyways. And they are already calling it a strong contender for shooter of of the year. So to me that says a lot.
First off I'm going to say the obvious answer ,Cod 4. But here is the most under rated game on both platforms. Burnout paradise. You talk about fast. this game is fast as all hell. So you don't need to have a shooter to have a fast frame rate. So buy Burnout Paradise.
Yes gears of is worth it and it's one of the best games on the system. I think is right to to tell you. this Most of the RROD cases are when the system or power brick isn't ventilated right. Like for example putting it on a rug is a RROD death waiting to happen. Instead put it on a glass table what ever put is on anything but a rug. Secondly give the system room to breathe because this SOB gets hot. And Every once in a while check the back if the system to see if its too hot.
Two hours ago the ear piece in my head set crapped out. For what ever reason the microphone works. I know this because voice plays through the speakers. I am literally over the wired headset because this is the third that broke. So how My question is how reliable are the wireless headsets? I already spent $110 on a good pair of hockey roller blades today. I'm getting NInja Gaiden that s $60, and I'm not willing to buy another wired headset. The BS that i go through is day to day and never ending it seems.
I'm not jealous. However if I had a Ps3, I would buy it in a heartbeat. I think that if I do get one I would only get it for the Sony exclusives and Blu ray and that alone isn't reason enough to get one . Plus what pisses me of is that in order to have backwards capability, you need to buy the $500 system which is BS.
The best thing to do is ditch your wireless router and get a d-link wired router. It is so much better and I never get kicked off line and it's a really good connection. i hope this helps.
I was actually disappointed with Oblivion. Was it a good game without a doubt, yet for some reason I couldn't get into it. BTW I loved Fable so if that game is any indication then for me it will be better then Oblivion. And to be honest with everyone, we really don't know much about this game so time will tell.
