I don't really know which one to get and I don't have enough money to get both so which one would you suggest and if one is better than the other how is it and in what way.
Get both! They are very different games and are both very fun!!! Honestly, Battlefield Bad Company looks to be right up there based on the demo Ive been playing on XBL!!!
I'd get Halo 3, it's a MUCH better game. CoD 4 is a good game but it's the exact same as any other FPS except it has shiny graphics so it gets boring fairly quickly.
Halo 3 on the other hand is more fun to play and will last you forever. It is similiar to other FPSs but it does it in such a better fashion. You might get bored of it after a while but more than likely if you come back to it you'll love it all over again. Especially if you have friends to play it iwth.
COD4 is way better as said before the sp in Halo3 sucks and the mp is filled wit 12 year old *** hats. On the other hand COD4 has an awesome, but short, sp and the mp is addictive as hell. Ive had the game for 6 months now and still play it almost every day.
Halo 3 all the way way more options for online, 4 player co, op forge and actually takes skill to kill a guy. COD4 one shot with a sniper anywhere on there body and they die o halo has vehciles and a saved film feature. COD4 has none of that. Don't try having a lane party with 8 people and 2 xboxs either cause COD4 will only let one person per xbox

The single player was great, but I couldn't really get into the multi-player which is kinda funny cause most people have the exact opposite problem. But when it comes down to it I kept Halo 3 cause all my friends like to play it when they come over, I traded in Call of Duty 4 cause I never played it. My advice to you(I'm probly gonna catch flack for this)......... Get Gears of War.

Gears of War would have been better in 2007, but it only has three modes, only two are played by people, Warzone and execution are too similar, not much replay value there.
Well they are almost a completely different style of game, Cod4 is very realistic, with almost 1 shot kills. But halo is like a Sci-Fi game with like, Eg. You have energy shields protecting you from bullets. Set in the future etc etc. But I love Both games, even though a long time of halo can really make you mad after a while, get both!
