Wooooo! Gamers rejoice! Sony did it up! That ball was in their court and boy did they run with it and score BIG TIME! Price is on point and no compromising on consumer rights! Yes! Woooo! Now...just hoping they don't pull a bait and switch a la PS3 (like what they did with the backwards compatibility)

@TohouAsura @flyingdutchdog2 I didn't appreciated them removing backwards compatibility. What can you expect though when gamers are supporting DLC and high definition rehashes. Execs see potential to make $ and they pounce. Even if it's at the gamers expense.

@flyingdutchdog2 Then I guess employees will have to only recommend the Wii U. E3 in a few more hours official announcements may be made then. Crossing my fingers Sony doesn't do what Microsoft is doing.

A message to all GameStop employees: Microsoft is trying to take your livelihood. Come this Holiday season fight back. When all those mothers, grandmothers and girlfriends ask you for advise on which console to get for their loved ones you may want to suggest the PS4 or Wii U! Show MS Old Testament style an eye for an eye!

@uglypinkmoose I think you're missing the bigger $4 picture. If Microsoft implements all these controls for used games then it's going to be harder for me to sell on Ebay or Craig's List or just pass it over to my younger cousin, who doesn't maybe have as much. F that! I've sold my used car before and Honda owns many patents on that vehicle. Yet they didn't ask for a cut of the money I made from the sale. So how is it different for any other industry? It isn't! And if we as consumer accept the fact that the Microsoft will tax us on our used games then what's to stop all other companies? If you didn't invent it probably means someone else holds a patent or copyright for it. Next thing you know you trying to sell your used Iphone but are unable to until Apple gets a cut!

Of course you're going to be all for fees on used games. If I were you though I'd watch what you say! Some of us gamers know when we are being wronged as consumers. And sometimes we know how to unite too. Look at what happened to Resident Evil 6's projected sales. And we know you have a major game coming out in September so watch what you say!.

You got to love this guy for trying "A lot of assumptions but very little based on facts." Its already been stated by Microsoft the Xbox One will need to connect at least once every 24 hours and there will be some fee for giving away, transffering or selling your used games. What more facts do I need?

@Glongold @The_Last_Paladi Nintendo did this already back in 2001 with the GameCube and a cable to the Game Boy. I remember connecting my GameCube to my son's Game Boy in Animal Crossing for extras. So I kind of believe they are coping Nintendo in a way

@DarkNeoBahamut @cytheh @erxevo @leviathanwing @Thanatos2k Riiiight Sony isn't copying. This because Nintendo didn't do this already back in 2001 with the GameCube and a cable to the Game Boy. Although I kind of remember connecting my GameCube to my son's Game Boy in Animal Crossing. But you're probably right they aren't copying.
