RE5 will not be coming out in 2008. It will be 2009 at earliest, probably 2010 in reality so stop putting it on your lists.

My top 5:

GTAIV: I havent owned any GTA before so im really looking forward to this.

Rock Band: I know what you're thinking "this comes out this year". Not for me it doesnt as i live in Europe and this has been pushed back to early spring.

Alan Wake: After seeing the first few movies i was left very interested. Hopefully they wont dissapoint.

Lost Oddysey: The most interesting looking JRPG out there at the moment and im expecting probably the highest scoring in gamerankings when its released.

Fallout 3: After having briefly played the first two i find the idea of first person perspective an unusual step forward in the franchise. I cant see them buggering it up so hopefully it will be a huge hit next christmas.

I would like to point out that a 10 does not and should not imply the game is perfect. Perfection is almost impossible to attain so to say a game can achieve this is daft. All a 10 really means is the game is fantastic/brilliant despite its flaws. Not having played Halo 3 means i dont know how much i'll like it but any of those people out there annoyed it didnt achieve what you wanted it to, stop whittering and start enjoying Halo 3....NOW!!

P.S. Tastes change over time so reviewers aren't necessarily going to have the exact same tastes as you or even the same tastes they had ten years ago.

Why are you allowing votes for Halo 3 when half the people who have voted for it haven't even played. It should be fine if they want to cast their vote once they've played it but you shouldnt really accept it otherwise. Also, you shouldn't accept votes for any game that hasnt been released.

Guitar Heroes 2 anyone? Simply astounding, especially if you havent already played it on the PS2. If you think its a game you'd be interested in i would advice that you dont get GH3. The song list just isnt as good as GH2 and the achievements look like a nightmare (if you're into achievements ofcourse ;) ). The added bonus is that it will be cheaper than GH3 and Rock band. The latter i suggest you get if you want to try out drums instead.

The other games i would suggest are Oblivion, Bioshock and Gears of War. This coming christmas i would suggest Halo 3, Mass Effect, Ace Combat 6, Half Life 2: Orange Box, Assasins Creed and PGR4.
