I'm more excited about the DS Castlevania. The DS/GBA games are some of the best in the series.

The 3D games (Lament, Curse) are just a poor man's Devil May Cry. Good, but not great.

I agree. The 2D ones are the best so unless they do something astounding with this next 3D one i cant see myself buying it.

Sorry Gamepro, but a 5 point scale is not enough...best left to just read the reviews and tips and witty remarks beneath each photo.-Murdock-

Im sorry but their may be a total of five points available for the game but their are twenty increments going up by 0.25. Therefore their score system is exactly the same as gamespots so it doesnt make any difference. Readin the review is all that matters.

F-zero on the DS would be nice, espicially for the Wifi play. Would make F-zero bigger then it is now.WSGRandomPerson

If they did do it i hope they would add the ring of death and the random course generator.

they did say "at this point of time" so they could be taking a break and doing it later or it could possibly mean that the 2D side-scroller will actually be in 3Dwhite143papi

Or they've already finished it. It depends on when the comment in metroid corruption was added. Either way we'll find out at TGS.

Edit: I take it you meant that the sidescroller would be in 3D?

I would have to say that Proffessor Layton has had me pretty wound up about a release date. It was originally released in Japan to much praise but since then there was nothing. Apparently it will get an early December release which is great as my friend is going to America around then and has promised to bring me back a copy.

you guys never once mentioned mario kart for the ds.Joshunar

Yes, i did mate. If you read the first post again you should see that i clearly say mario kart and then say that apart from mario kart there are no descent racers on the DS. The reason no one else mentioned it was because my post wasnt addressing the fact that mario kart was great. My post is addressing the distinct lack of good racers on the DS.

I've really enjoyed my DS ever since i bought it. Every game i have has pretty much been completed to its fullest but now im getting a little bored. The problem now is that when i look in my collection i just dont see enough variety and if i were to pick one genre that was not being represented properly i would have to say that racing games are difficult to come by. Not just normal racing games either, i need good racing games. If you look at al nintendos other handhelds and consoles you see a healthy number of racing games, F-zero, wave race, 1080, mario kart, but so far all we have on the DS is the latter and a couple of fairly bland racing titles including ridge racer and asphalt gt. Sure we have that create-a-race game coming soon but to be honest a new f-zero or similar racing game would be much more appreciated. I was told that hover racing games really died in the late nineties and that only f-zero and wipeout survived because of their cult status so why hasnt Nintendo let its best hovercraft franchise grace the DS? Anywone got any thought?

P.S. Why are Nintendo and retrostudios giving us mixed signals about metroid dread?

Technically its landscape was bigger than any other game so it was half right. Certainly not better than either of those games though but a decent experience.

top complaining, if you can't pay for a year of Xbox Live, then you obviously can't pay for internet, so you shouldn't even be worried about it.Lostfile

Don't you mean cant "afford", and the internet is not nessecarily wholey used for entertainment. Many people need it for work, emails and the like. That statement is very presumptuous.
