@jtthegame316 @GamerLegend10 uh no you dont pay for the psn free games. you keep them as long as you're a member. not to mention they are newer games. yes, as a ps+ member there are games that go on sale but those are in addition to the other FREE games.

It has nothing to do with a positive side vs a negative. Gaming simply isn't the problem. She's trying to make it a pro vs con debate. If that's the game she wants to play, where are her specials on how alcohol, tobacco, facebook, and a million other things are detrimental to people. seriously, people always need a scapegoat that takes attention away from there own failures in society. Maybe parents and the news should take a look how they are the cause of a crap ton of problems.

i might skip this one as well. This is just another reason to do so. The biggest thing driving me to skip it is MGS4. I thought it was a complete departure from the series, turning it into an action run and gun game and not a sneaking game. It also played like an interactive movie.

@LiquidGold Dude, they don't do it for the money the state pays them, they do it for the money the lobbyists pay them. they don't care if they don't get paid by the government

I'm totally ok with a study into the effects of violent games on people. HOWEVER, they must also do studies on gun violence, movie violence, the effect of parents letting others raise their kids (i.e. teachers), and so on.

That being said, I doubt games have much of an impact. I watch violent movies and play violent games, but my parents taught me early on to care about others. I have never once attacked another human being except in self defense, and in those instances, I always stop when I'm out of harms way. I don't feel the need to butcher my attacker or his family.
