I really hope this nonsense doesn't lead to the cancellation of feedbackula, it's the best show on gamespot. People use the anonymity of the internet to write absolute trash, and feedbackula is a great way of turning the mirror back on people who make asinine statements. I say the best way to help the situation, is do more feedbackula episodes highlighting the stupidity of peoples comments online. and calling them out by name as terrible commenters.
@JynxGSpot @chromerican1980 I could care less about resale, I stop reselling my games years ago, but for me its more about the fact that I can play an nes game that i got for xmas in 1989 today if i wanted to, but with the online check system, when microsoft moves on from xboxone, and they shut down the servers used to verify your system, the games you paid for will no longer work. but the point is if microsoft came out tomorow and said the games you purchase will work on your system even when the "XBOX TWO" or "XBOX THREE" comes out, I would like to own some of their games, hell I loved killer instinct, I would buy that in a minute, but not like this.
I ripped on msoft so much for all this policy garbage, but as a gamer, I would have loved to spend my time debating which one to buy first, instead of picking ps4 because i felt like the alternative was a bad choice for consumers. I like when console wars are fought based on specs, and data, and GAMES. I HATE that I have to stay away from msoft until they hopefully change their policies, because as a video game collector, I won't buy an xbox product unless they tell me "your ownership of these games is simply that, ownership". I still play nes, i still play dreamcast, turbografx, snes, 3do, and all my old systems. I want to own what i pay for...can you give us that msoft. just give us what we want...TO OWN OUR GAMES

people keep saying, but all the costs are still there if you buy ps4, but YOU ACTUALLY OWN THOSE ITEMS, my original post states that xbox live will cost 15 a month, and thats according to an original statement from msoft, i dont know if they changed it, but it is supposedly more expensive this generation, but bottom line with xboxone, you dont own anything but a license for a period of time. so 682.50, to play a game and system until microsoft stops supporting it. or pay roughly 580.00 to play a system and game forever unless you break it...I choose ownership. go ahead and buy xboxone if you don't care about this, but you are selling yourself short as a consumer
@rambus316 @chromerican1980 ps4 doesnt make online a requirement so people who dont want to spend that money dont HAVE to. this is the point that people are missing. I have no problem paying for it, but i know as a kid i didnt have the resources i have as an adult, and I think its crappy that my younger self would have been screwed if the xbox or 360 required internet service
Lets do some simple math real quick...System, 500.00+ 1 extra controller 60.00+ 1 game 60.00+ average cost of broadband internet for one month in the USA 47.50+ gold membership for one month 15.00=$682.50 ie TOOOO MUCH for a POS that won't work when they shut down their servers or if I move to an area with crappy internet service
