@zakknafien Are you that fukcin stupid? Even if it was "as weak" as you Ponies claim, it's a minimum of 6x the performance of 360. In reality, it's more like 12x because of architectural changes like GCN, HSA, hUMA, etc. Additionally, AI takes a boatload more compute than accommodating more players. Netcode is nothing new or advanced. If BF4 can do 64 players, any game could, but obviously the DESIGNERS decided the game was better at 6v6 with AI. Until you've shipped a AAA game with a 9+ score, maybe you should leave it to those who do this for a living to design games.
@amdreallyfast Console power has NOTHING to do with publisher support. If people were buying games on TI graphing calculators, they'd publish games to them. No one buys anything but Nintendo games on Nintendo consoles. Ergo, there's little to no incentive for publishers to port to the system, especially now that it's a different architecture than the other two new machines. Best thing Nintendo could do is lower price to 200$, ship a new Metroid, a new Zelda and Mario Kart ASAP, and bundle the Mario World U, New SMB, New SLB and Wind Waker HD with the system. The instant collection and low price point would see millions of units pushed in short order. It's their only viable option for staying in this gen. Or they could just work on the next machine... take the Sony approach and use off the shelf crap and come out as the beefiest of the 3 consoles in 2 years.
@zakknafien Guess you can imagine all you want, cuz that's all Ponies will be doing over Titanfall. It's ok, be butthurt. When the game launches to 9.5/10 reviews and Infamous 4 launches to 6/10 reviews and that, along with Knack is all you still have, just remember how "superior" GDDR5 is and crap like that. And hey, at least Knack is 1080p.
@UNCStriker88 No... I'm a fanboy for Xbone, but both companies are using sell-through numbers. Sony is in more territories and it's more affordable. It only makes sense they'd be selling more units.
What makes 100v100 any better than 6v6? I really don't get what all the bitchin' is about. Someone enlighten me. How would 100 people playing a match make this game better? Hell, it's already gonna' be crazy on screen if everyone has their titan out at once.
Stand by for another disappointing Alien game in a long line of disappointing Alien games. How they can take a franchise so rich in possibilities and churn out nothing but crap amazes me. It's a curse.
