The Alien fans now are like battered house wives we keep getting beat down from shit after shit but yet we keep coming back in the hope that something will do the franchise justice.
Ok so I just watched the GT review and unlike many other reviewers they said that the game gets too easy(they said they played it on hard mode) later on and that the Alien can be frightened with the flame thrower, while other reviews have said that the game is hard as balls and that the flamethrower is useless. Man reviews are all over the place the one only consistency I can see is that the is a little too long and the parts only with the androids are weak. It seems like this game should have just been 7 to 8 hours and it would have been amazing. Regardless Im still going to say **** and get this game this its the Alien game I have always wanted and I am a massive fan on the original film even if the game is not great I still think that I will get some worthwhile enjoyment out of it.
Its funny how several of the reviews are bashing the game like IGN for have SMART and unpredictable AI??? Uh wft, so your telling me the one time we get a stealth game with great and unpredictable AI its now bad?!
Idk what to think but all this praise seems shady to me. Its not that the game looks bad or anything but in a time where everyone calls for inovation, ME:SoM does so little new and what it does isnt that special either. All the footage I've seen of it made it look like yet another AC clone with none of AC history charm... but thats just my opinion that might change once I play the game
I have played the game for like 10 hours, it does have a personality of its own and I have learned the hard way that this game does not play like AC and if you do you will die ALOT. You can't just stealth ninja your way through everything you have to use all your tools and abilities and the Nemesis system is really cool getting killed by other captains makes the enemies fell personal.
