And they know some new will buy it, but they are sure many fanboys will, and if only a third of the previous 7 million who bought it, buy it again? Thats over 2 million sold. @geosurface @cainetao11 If you believe a bunch of suits rereleased this game after it sold 7 million copies and they know this consumer market buys yearly releases of basically the same thing because they had the noble intention of making it for those who didnt play it, I have some waterfront property to sell for $400. Go look in the thread on SW. How many previous owners are stating they bought it again. If only a third of the original buyers buy it, thats over 2 million in sales. Thats what it was made for.

@Kinguard73 @cainetao11 I never said there was no difference. If I did find it and show it to me. But it isnt a significant jump as I am being told imo. Socom on PS2 and Gears of War is a significant jump. This isnt. I am disappointed by what I have seen for $50. Great game, I still play it on my PS3 but no way am I spending 50 on this.

@fyrecide And yet they will. Trust me fans will buy it. There was a post in SW of a person's PS3 copy and PS4 copy. "No F**ks were given" was the line he said. People will buy this again, and execs know it.

@geosurface @smokeless_0225 This has become my favorite load of crap regarding these rereleases. "its for the people who didn't play it". Like a bunch of Sony execs sat in a think tank and had this noble idea "lets charge for this again for the people that didn't play it" even though the original has sold 7 million copies, and its not like gamers haven't proven they'll buy anything again and again. (COD, Madden yearly) Come on folks, these are corporations. This wasn't done with philanthropic like ambitions. Its easy money, and Sony needs money.

@geosurface Ok since your eye is trained, will please give us a scale by which to go on? You say it isn't earth shattering but it is significant. What are the levels up to significant and between earth shattering and significant? For me to buy a game again, one year later it needs to shatter something for my $50 not to mention the online is free on my PS3. No. It isn't significant enough to my "untrained" eye, or value sensible wallet.

@geosurface But I don't pause games when I play them in order to scrutinize. In motion, I saw nothing that makes say "oh yes! I have to buy this again". Its a cash grab and library padder. Same as MC Collection. Only a Sony exec has said in an interview they are going to continue with these last gen rereleases. Weak

@MagnusLensher I agree. With my gaming time limited now I don't get to play everything. So I sacrifice on indies first. They have their place, but I didn't buy new consoles in order for them to be the big focus. Many are great 2D games that could have been done on last gen.

Been loving it as I always do, but giving someone a penalty kick for getting tripped off to the side of the net was ridiculous. I'll always take hockey over soccer. Gotta be facing the net, and have a clear chance to shoot at net/breakaway taken in order to get a penalty shot. I know where the box is, but these guys cry and dive enough, don't add incentive when the guy couldn't have even shot from where the foul took place.

I don't blame Yoshida. Spencer has made a point of doing the humble good guy thing in regards to competition. Digs and insults quickly translate into arrogance with the games media and consumer base. Both Sony and MS have learned how much that hurts.
