@halestrom88 I totally agree. Blizzard has taken a "game for all" mentality lately. I remember when WOW actually took skill to play and you had to work together to accomplish your goals. Hopefully if we scream loud enough Blizzard will hear us and go back to as you say halestrom88, "quality over quantity."
Seriously, another FF13?!?! I'm a long time FF fan and In my opinion this has been the worst FF series ever! Lightning must remind someone at Square-Enix of their wannabe wife or something. End this horrible attempt of a FF game already and get back to the roots of what a FF game should be. To start look back at FF1-FF9. Those should help!!!
I'm in marketing and this is "Mistake 101" that companies, no matter their worth, make time and time again. They love their products soooo much they think their worth what THEY want to sell it for. I'll give you a hit Razor, your product is only worth what the consumer is willing to pay for it! I can tell you right now the majority of their target audience will not dish out $1k+ for a 10" tablet. Back to the drawing board Razor if you want this thing to be a success. I would start with finding a way to make it cheaper, or if you don't want to do that do as Lamborghini does with some of their cars and produce them by a per request basis!
I'm not sure about this price tag. Don't get me wrong I love the idea but the price point is to high. Even at the low end model at $499 thats a pretty penny for most in today's economy. They calling it a "PC" but in truth they are separating themselves from the PC and stepping into the console world which will be very competitive this coming year. The price should be no more than $399 if they want to compete with the next gen consoles. 2013 is a very exciting time for us gamers!!!
Poor little Wii U. No one will remember you once the new Xbox and Playstation are released. I'm still trying to figure out what Nintendo was thinking??? Ok maybe their target market is mainly children, but have they stopped to see what little kids are playing now a days? Most are playing their parents iPad or iPhone or some other form of portable device. What nintendo needs to do is dump the Wii U and 3DS and release a new Gameboy with console graphics! Now that would hit their target audience and it would be awesome, lol!
Judging from the pic they provide of their tablet it looks to be a Samsung display. That maybe the cause for the delay since Samsung lost in court to Apple over their tablet devices. Last thing Wikipad wants is to be involved in a lawsuit. Either way it's a cool idea for gamers, but I'm not seeing this sell very well. Madcatz or another third party will probably come out with their own tablet controllers that will universal with multiple devices.
It's announced as retirement but EA likes to refer to it as "FORCED" retirement, or being politically correct "early" retirement. Good luck Muzyka and Zeschuck in your future endeavors. I'm sure we'll see a new company sprout up out of this... just saying.
No way this is for the current generation consoles! Trust me once the new consoles are announced for 2013 the availability for X360, PC, PS3 will be switched to X720 (or whatever it will be called), PC, PS4!!!
