@aniforprez 1. Who are you to state that someone is not a gamer because they hate the repetitive part? I don't like the shop that much either, but it provides a nice alternative to people who are stuck and not sure how to get out of their situation.

2. This is much less risky. And besides, if they're enjoying it, why is it a bad thing that Blizzard makes a little extra off of it?

3. The same argument applies to this one.

@DuaMn What do you mean "produce things you don't really want?" Because the Nintendo DS was the fastest selling gaming-dedicated handheld ever, and the 3DS has already beat it at every benchmark. I can promise you, there are more than a couple of dedicated Mario and Zelda fans out there.

@xhawk27 Have you not seen Nintendo's line-up? I like the XBOX, but on the 3DS alone the have a new Paper Mario, a sequel to Luigi's Mansion, Kid Icarus Uprising, and several more first-party games on the way. Major third-party games like MGS3 and Resident Evil Revelations just came out. And this is on their handheld system... In fact, even their old handheld system has more big games coming out. And the 3DS has been available in America for over a year now, longer in Japan.

Oh, so you're whining about bias now? Super Mario 3D Land - 8 Kirby Return to Dreamland - 7.5 And how could we forget: Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword - 7.5 Now let's look at the opposition. CoD: MW3 - 8.5 Dark Souls - 9.5 FIFA Soccer 12 - 9 Are the last 3 games good games? Sure. I don't care for them, specifically Call of Duty. But regardless of if they are "good" or not, it's hard to say that the game that is being called the best Zelda game of all time (you gave one of them a 10, by the way) by almost everyone who reviews it and is getting tons of perfect scores is considered decent by you guys. I honestly am not the biggest Nintendo fan, and I doubt I'll get any three of those games. But it's not a closely guarded secret that those games are getting great reviews. Even IGN gave Zelda a 10 and Mario a 9.5.

Continued... Some examples, the Wii remote seems overly twitchy to me. When I try to select things with it, I have to use both hands. At the E3 demo of Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword, it became obvious that if it the remote, even with MotionoPlus, with just a little interference it could make the game unplayable. These things can be fixed, but the people in charge are being to slow about it and it usually just involves a lot more money spent. Now, I know its unfair to put Nintendo on the spot when it's obvious that PS Move and Kinect definately have these problems too, but for length purposes, I'm just going to leave it at this. Sorry for the wall of text, but I hope you can understand what I meant. While it is impossible for developers to predict everything correctly, I believe they should try a little harder to get things fixed.

@cachinscythe You make a very good point. They can't have "100%" proof something will be good or bad. But they could try their best to run major developers through with the tool before the hardware releases, try and make it simpler, and offer a very good tutorial for those who don't want a tutor on how to use it. On the consumer side, they could run surveys, put out demos in stores or something, (E3 is a very good time for this, and it seems they are going to take the right course this year) and make plenty of videos and guides prior to the release of the tool so people are ready immediately. With the current motion control things, for instance, people had to go off of the reassurance "This is the new thing!" and that it would be flawless, when it is obvious that it's not. The Wii remote even needed an extra peripheral before it could feel completely correct, and even then it isn't perfect. Not that any gimmick could be, but bugs and glitches need to be worked out more thoroughly and customers and developers alike need to be ready for it. Read on in next post...

The problem is not gimmicks and peripherals, the problem is BAD gimmicks and peripherals. If the hardware was a little more accesible, the Wii would have good 3rd party games, (not they don't, there are a few) there would be more than 15 Kinect games right now, and the PS Move wouldn't look like a... I mean the PS Move wouldn't be a rip-off of a Wii remote, and have the same problems there after.

Fallout: New Vegas and Crysis 2 are what I'm looking forward too. Maybe Civ V if my computer will run it. But most of all... There needs to be a new Elder Scrolls!

@king_chapeton15 I'm not a fan of GTA, but who said GTA4 was a PS3 exclusive? They were always stretching how there was going to be exclusive content on the xBox 360, but never PS3. And I know they never said it was a PS3 exclusive.
