the bar needs to be level but unlike the wii it actually moves up and down and finds you where ever you are. Mine has to sit on the stand for my tv so it is slightly looking down when its switched off but when you turn on the console it adjusts until its found you. I hope this is helpful.

[QUOTE="vashkey"]As much as hardcore gamers like to pretend they embrace new things and change, constantly complaining about a supposed lack of new IPs, they actually hate change. They whine about 3d. They whine about the new motion based peripherals even though they do not have to buy them. There is absolutely nothing wrong with 3d so long as it remains and option and not a requirement for the bulk of releases. Gamers just like to complain about everything.Vinegar_Strokes

Im no luddite, i would LOVE all my games to be in glorious 3D. i f'ing loved the 3D in Avatar (even though the film was guff). But what im not doing is spending over £1000 on a new TV and £150 on a few sets of 3D glasses. In 6 - 7 years when i replace that 46" HDTV i bought last year then sign me up.

bloody hell mate I think you mean over £2000 for a 3D tv but my problem is the Samsungs dont come with any glasses and cost £70 for a pair or the Panny's come with glasses but only two and there are 5 of us in my house, not to mention all the exclusive 3D blu-rays that come with each brands players and not available anywhere in stores.

although we do have a dedicated HD3D TV channel in the UK there doesnt seem much content available, so I think Ill wait for a bit and see how all this tech pans out.

Oooohhh aaahhhh another metroid game. AAAHhhhhh look Kirby again. Oh I know people havent seen mario for a while....oh no wait they have, and finally look a game thats been out for ages in japan and looks just like every other JRPG is coming to the US my god arnt we all blessed. Yeah History repeats it self alright.

I dont see this as a problem I would charge it just like I do my current controller, check the battery life when its getting low charge it while watching a movie or playing a normal game its not gonna be a problem.

[QUOTE="ProjectNatalFan"]

[QUOTE="navstar29"]Yeah its honestly horrendous, my max download speed is 1.2MB/s (10Mbit connection) and on psn i ALWAYS get 1.2MB/s, what a horrendous serv- oh wait :P

I've never understood these claims. navstar29

What dont you understand I will gladly inform you.

I hit my max bandwidth on PSN, as does everyone I know, with faster and slower services than mine ... what I don't understand is what you are doing to not hit it

I dont have a monthly bandwidth limit so I never hit anything. Not everybody has limits on there broadband service.

I dont see this working at least for me, I havent seen any 3D TV or Movie in theaters that can really handle fast motion well. it always blurs like crazy I always kind of zone out and I notice the double image.

only exception has been avatar where I forgot I was even watching 3D that movie is best in full 1080p in 2D not 1080i and shaded glasses that you get in the movies.

Here this should help

Plasma- Still the best black levels (almost CRT quality) and color contrast.
LCD- Best Resolution
LED- All the attributes of LCD plus black levels close to Plasma's
OLED- Attributes of all the above. Biggest size however is only 11 inches.
-CNET Asia & Engadget

sonic_spark

actually LG just launched their 15" OLED a few days ago but it is £3000, nice if ya got it.

[QUOTE="WiiRocks66"][QUOTE="BaconB1ts123"]Thanks for all the input guys. I ended up getting the 42 inch Panasonic G25. $1299 Canadian. I think I made a good choice. I would gladly give up the Viera cast stuff to save money but I don't think they have a scaled down model with the same panel specs. Did I hear you say 3d plasma WiiRocks? I thought it was only in LED LCD. I tried to check the the 3d tvs out today but all the glasses where broken. Kinda hard to sell to ppl if you can't show them! I don't think it will catch on even if it is cool. Again, thanks for the input.Videodogg
No, I said LG plasma. And a Panasonic was a good choice. I hear that they have some of the lowest input lag times.

Panasonic has a new 3D plasma tv.

yeah I saw the 3D panny yesterday it was a lot better than the samsung, I hardley noticed any blurring with the Panny but there was loads on the samsung.

I havent seen LG's 3D pannel yet but I here good things.
