Sounds like MS may be going against analysts' predictions and focusing on games after all (at least tomorrow) which would be smart since the only people how care about the reveal are gamers. They will have 6 months to convince everyone else why they should get an Xbox without alienating the core base from the get go.
With that being said, I hope the two companies diverge a little more this time so I have less work convincing myself (and lets be honest, my wife) why I need both.
Not that Joe would be wrong about a legal issue (like telling people to shoot a shotgun out their door if they think burglars are around) but Im pretty sure any tax like this would be ruled un-consitutional as it is a form of censorship.
It's like the new wave of gun control bills that are starting up forcing people to get a huge amount of liability insurance if they own gun. This is just another attempt to regulate a right which the courts don't look too kindly upon.
@emgesp @boom_f15 You're right they had terrible 3rd party support, just like always... and they cried themselves all the way to the bank worrying about it.
@emgesp I seem to remember the same kind of comments about the Wii... you know the crappy console that was just 2 gamecubes taped together... the one that crushed the competition.
As a relatively new Wii U owner, here is my 2 cents on all of this... If you are into the casual stuff that the Wii provided the Wii U is still for you (it is backwards compatible after all). If you are a core gamer are you really going to care about 3rd party titles on the Wii U anyway? Does anyone who is a core gamer only have a Wii U?
@TheWatcher000 @boom_f15 @rmartinezdl I play plenty of games from other publishers and indies. Im not the one trying to be a new age hippie by being against big companies simply because they are big and it's the cool thing to do this week.
