@pcty It may seem like an attack but I said he gives the 'impression' he doesn't like games. Seriously, I've read a lot of his reviews and my heart drops now when I see he's been given a game I'm really interested in.

I would rather it was given to someone who still has enthusiasm for games. I'll comment further when I've played the full thing but this guy hates some games that are considered classics by a lot of gamers.

He has played too many games and writes too many reviews. It's natural he'll become jaded and one game will almost blend into the next one for him that's why I'm saying now is the time for him to take a break and see if he can rediscover what it was he liked about games in the first place.

@pcty It's not a question of agreeing with him or not. My point is it is not good to have someone doing so many reviews who gives the impression they really don't like computer games. I think Kevin likes the 'idea' of games, but secretly they annoy the hell out of him.

@pcty Just seen it, thanks. Not great but still closer to a 7 from both metacritic and normal gamers than a 4.5. Maybe I'll agree with him when I play the full game but a score of 4.5 he's basically saying the game is simply awful.

I've been reading a lot of Kevin's reviews lately and come to the conclusion he just doesn't like computer games. If ever there was a jaded, burned out hack this is your man right here.

He needs to take a break from games, a long one, and come back fresh.

I haven't played RE6 yet by the way (only the demo which I liked) but as soon as I saw the score it got I knew immediately who had written the review. He's a good reviewer but he doesn't like games anymore, hasn't for a long time. This is probably the lowest score this game is going to get anywhere in the world and for all the wrong reasons.

He's already making excuses for the crappy graphics. In what world does it make sense to say it doesn't matter that the graphics are low res because they look so good? Bethesda will once again release a game that looks ten years out of date graphically and this time there will be no mod community to do their job for them and make the game look respectable.

Unspeakably stupid decision and every MMO that's released by the time this comes out will make it look even worse.

Underwhelming doesn't even begin to describe it. When Gamespot give a Blizzard game 8.5 you know three things 1. their ads dept will hate them 2. Blizzard will hate them and 3. the game itself really isn't very good.

Graphics that would have been cutting edge 8 years ago, gameplay that's a clone of its own prequel despite the fact there are a million Diablo 2 clones already and hilarious online nonsense that they somehow managed to mess up in real style.

They've probably pushed it back till they can figure out a way to make her tits completely fill the screen. Why the hell would anyone want to play a Tomb Raider game for any reason these days?

I'm going to help these people out. If you haven't played a PC game in many years your PC will still run Diablo 3 on full settings without breaking a sweat.

You could have just posted that in the news instead of have some guy waffle on about it for about a million words. Just saying. You can use that as a template for any future Blizzard game too if you like. The graphics in all their games is about ten years out of date so everyone who has anything vaguely resembling a PC can run it.
