After reading this I tried it and sadly it did not help. I'm not sure if somewhere a setting is off or something, which is probably the case if the other games I mentioned run fine.

Hey all, I'm new to PC gaming and have been having a rather annoying issue with lag. I have tried to play TF2 and Dino Horde on Steam. Both of these games result in the same type of lag. Basically, when I go to move/run I end up getting bounced ahead of me, which has resulted in my character falling off cliffs, running into walls, getting killed, and other such things.

Now, I have Far Cry 3 but I don't have it through Steam. So I tested out how the connection for the online for that game is and it runs just fine. Same goes for Planetside 2, absolutely no issues. I also have no issues when playing online with my PS4 (other than the issues with BF4, Killzone and Madden run smoothly).

I'm left assuming this is somehow an issue related to Steam and was wondering if anyone has had similar issues or has heard of this happening. But with Titanfall on the way this is something I'm definitely on a mission to get resolved.

Any help is much appreciated.

I'd suggest the older one mainly for the better screen (at least from what I've seen of the new one online the original screen is better). The internal storage of the new one is nice but isn't a lot, though it can be good for system updates and other non-game related data. However, the bundle for the new Vita with Borderlands 2 is really nice and as you said you are more interested in the newer one, in which case I'd say wait for it to come out with the bundle.

The majority of them are an artistic expression of the developers. Just like all other types of art (music, movies, books, etc.) there are levels or art from high/fine art to lower levels. Something like Shadow of the Colossus (yeah, I know, overused example) would be fine art while something like COD (also I know, overused example) would be lower art. This doesn't make either better or worse, they do what the developers intended. Just look at movies. Something like Her could be considered an example of higher art while Pacific Rim would be lower art. Both are really good but Her would likely be considered more artsy than PR, but both are clearly what the director/writer intended them to be so they're still both artistic expressions.

But really, the media is anti video games and that's not likely to change anytime soon. For some reason people still consider Die Hard a perfectly acceptable thing for adults to watch but if you play Max Payne then you should grow up and do something more age appropriate (just an example, but I know people who have this mindset that video games are for kids).

But really, who cares. There will always be those who are against video games for every reason they can think of so I doubt calling games art is going to do much for anybody (though, the ending of Beyond Two Souls or the entire story of Bioshock Infinite may help show people who have been in the dark about games and just get their info from the media what games have been turning into and how much they really evolved since the beginning).

I've been interested in this game for a while and they said a few months ago it would be on Plus. Glad to see we're close to getting it, consoles have been without good horror games (at least it seems good) for a while, so maybe this can help change that.

Hey all, I'm getting parts together to build a computer and was wondering what you think of them. I want to be able to run video and audio editing software as well as obviously gaming (want to run Skyrim with those realistic graphics mods if possible or at least at the highest settings). I know these components aren't the best, but hey, there's always going to be something better. But if I can do what I want to do with it then it works for me and I can always make upgrades along the way.

Enslaved: Odyssey to the West is a really good game and the ending is awesome (it drags a bit in the middle, but that doesn't ruin the game or anything).

I just got a 3DS XL for myself and tried the 3D but it strained my eyes in no time so I turned it off and the screen looks like any other screen, it just happens to be in your hands due to the nature of the system. The bigger screen on the XL is pretty nice as well.

I don't know much about the Wii-U, but I believe it can play Wii games so that opens up a decent sized library. It is nice to play on a big screen but it really comes down to which system you think will provide more/better games. The 3DS has the big DS library as well, which is rather intimidating due to the amount of high quality games available (plus it has Pokemon, which is a plus).
