Hey there I haven't built a pc in awhile, so whilst I know the gist of things I'm not 100% if what I'm buying.

Ok so heres my current rig:

Phenom x4 processor

4GB of RAM

500 W PSU

Ati Radeon 4850.

So essentially I want to build a new PC for just over £400, so I'm keeping my case, HDD's (there only 6 months old), PSU, Blu-ray drive etc and buying these 4 items.

AMD FX8-8320 Black Edition Vishera 8 Core AM3+ 3.5GHz 16MB 125W

Asus M5A97 R2.0 AM3+ AMD 970 DDR3 ATX

Kingston 16GB (2 x 8GB) HyperX Beast DDR3 2400MHz DIMM C11

Nividea GTX 660 Ti

This comes to £416, what could people also recommend? Like I said I've not built a PC for nearly 3-4 years now

If you read their FAQ before throwing a fit, you would know they are not changing every score deliberately, as every game would technically need re-reviewing to determine if it's to go up or down half a point.

Gamespot is now directed to my junk folder.... As much as I like Danny's 'The Point', I don't want every comment made by every person after mine appear on my email.

An SSD critically speeds up your load/rendering times etc, as long as your m2 cache on your motherboard, data transfer rate of your ram, and speed of your processor are also of a reasonable standard and that the software you are running is also on the SSD.....

After building PC's for a living, I would say the single most valuable piece of hardware for speeding up games is close between the RAM and GPU. an SSD should be one of the last upgrades you consider as they are not value for money.

An old hard drive can cause you major problems though

Hi, I want to get back on the MMO scene can anybody recommend a title?

my experience is as follows;

WoW-Left due to lack of playing

Champions online: got dull after 1 month

Star Trek: very poor gamplay

APB: closed down but liked most of it

Try looking at some of the tracking sights like X-fire or Raptr, you can at least see what mostly multiplayer games are still being played on a regular basis.

TA! most sites i come across have either been ood or just show how online active a game is.
