Killzone 2 would be the haze of last year, haze wasn't as hyped but it still was a flop, i doubt killzone will flop, from what i hear about the controls it may get some mixed reviews, but it will be good even if it isn't the PS3 has plenty of good exclusives coming out after it.
i don't think that this generation of consoles can be compared to the last generation because of prices. The 360 and PS3 are similar, the PS3 comes with more features in the system so it costs more so the 360 is winning in sales due to low price over the ps3, now the wii is just selling to everyone else, last gen there were 3 systems that were similarly priced with similar features.
Guitar hero by far has the way better instruments, the drums are more fun to play, but the big difference is in the guitars, i really wanted to buy rock band last year but i couldnt stand the guitar for it, guitar hero has the better instruments hands down. The songs are up to u to decide but they both have good songs, one problem that i have had with guitar hero is that it is hard to get in an online game, but the game is more fun when u have people over to play anyway.
dude, the holiday season is always packed, just look back at this season. And think of some better games to mention, tekken 6, come on, im sure it will be ok, but fighting games dont sell that great.

I think for this game to truly be great they need to add the ability to run and shoot, look what mgs4 did last year, it was modernized. It could be pretty good without it, but to be great they need to get rid of the outdated system and make the game more modern. I personally think its a little stubborn to stick with the old and not embrace the advances in gaming.
