if you read the majority of comments are from xbox fan boys and current 360/xbox live gold members furious at the bs micrsoft are forcing on this new "console"
I live at work 4-5 days and nights a week and due to this i have no access to internet for those 5 days so will not be able to connect every 24 hours.
therefor the games I legally purchased at full price will be blocked for most of the year......
they spend years feeding basement dwelling, mentally unstable guys extremely violent, retribuion, revenge, punishment style games then take a big fat steaming F U on the emotionally unstable kid lol
at the moment, just about yes as i am used to xbox live and games etc but the arrogance is starting to really p me off!
my main problem is that i go to work 5 days and 4 nights a week and like to play offline games in my spare time at work, i wont be able to do this with next gen titles on the xbox one so even if they just extended the check in from 24 hours to once weekly id be happy but they are just clueless and arrogant.
honestly seems like they made so much money on the 360 they dont give a sh.. anymore and are happy to be put out of business.
also funny how people go on about games being the cause for these mass shootings etc
so how do they think some evil kid is going to react when hes about to finish halo 5 and his internet goes down ?
how about they announce a version of the xbox one with no tv feature, ,no required kinect, no required 24 hour check in and make it just for games..make it cheaper and keep everyone happy?
we have had the 360 for years you arrogant tw@, how about we buy the ps4 and still get next gen games and graphics etc while were away from a secure connection?! I cant believe they are all being so arrogant rather than just suck it up and admit they made a mistake, fix the mistake then they are set to soar above sony again!
If the 24 check in/offline gaming isnt cancelled or
extended from 24 hours to a week or month I will not
purchase an Xbox One, neither will my 2 brothers or atleast
9 of my close friends. each of them have between 3 and 49
friends/family all refusing to purchase xbox one until this
is fixed.
We are all willing to jump to sony as most the games we play are
multi-platform anyway.
so just from my small circle of contacts, micrsoft stand to lose a couple
hundred console sales a couple hundred xbox live subscriptions
thousands of game sales, dlc purchases etc
in regards to exclusives theres arent many of us that care but those that do are willing
to buy ONE xbox-one to share between themselves just to play those exclusives (shared
xbox live subscription/gamertag too so cant stop us sharing!
It really is a shame as we were all excited to get xbox one consoles at midnight launch
and in resonse to Phil Spencers comments, You have a duty to keep your loyal customers...loyal
and happy! competition between sony and microsoft is very close and there is not enough in it to
put up with this kind of BS!
Stop acting like the xbox one planned this uproar and admit mistakes and fix them asap!
Pride before a fall, and its obvious it would be a huge fall!
side note: peple have tvs for tv, remotes to control the tv and
even smart tvs that offer much the same features the xbox-one does,
