The box itself looks like Gran Turismo 5, but when open up, people will think "I've seen enough hentai to know where this is going..." but the actual content is a fighting game. That's some confusing marketing right there.
@godofwarbfcodfa @therealgreek89 I'm a Sony fan through and through but I still thing that this is a terrible gimmick. It looks awkward and doesnt cater to any audience. Casual gamers will stick to their Dual Shock while hardcore gamers will use proper steering wheels. This thing falls right in between those 2, with little to offer and it looks to require arms on steroid.
@tesseract77 Perhaps you've got a point. However, I watched my bro's gameplay (up to 3/4 of the game, according to him) and I gota say, my opinion has not changed. It was repetitive, style but no substance, the story is quite convoluted and some of the characters are annoying as heck (that is without going into the obvious flaws).
After the epic failures that were 13, 14 and 13-2, i'm not sure how they can "make a new Final Fantasy title that succeeds the seventh game in terms of quality and sales". I have played boring RPGs, I've endured much of their flaws, and I completed most of them. FF13, however, I could not bring myself to get past the 2nd hour of the game.
I stopped reading at "...practices to thwart used game sales..." I think you've all heard the argument for used game sale so I wont elaborate. I'll just say this, that it's another tactic to **** over consumers, to milk every last cent out of us.
