@Cozm1kaos sure but the last gen was definitely way better. And if you've watched the E3 press conference for M$, you'd see where their focus lie. I mean, almost half the conference was devoted to forcing kinect down people's throats, what with movie, music and even a fitness program (which IMO is quite absurd).
Gimmick after gimmick... Why can't companies see that gamers dont need these junks, we need real games. This generation is riddled with failed gimmicks and crappy games. Remember the ps2 days when all we had were the console, the controllers and great games?
Wow, I'm really disappointed. KOA is actually one of the better RPGs I've played recently (and it's for PC!). Was hoping to see more of it but i guess that's down the drain.
@fluffy_kins That's because this site is mainly for hardcore games. Nintendo doesnt really cater to that demographic. Yes, i know, there are a couple of titles but that's not enough to make it a hardcore gaming console.
You're suggesting that the classic PS controllers be tweaked to suit a genre so saturated (ie shooters)? You mentioned that the xbox controller is perfect for shooter, and you're right. But look and what the xbox has. Shooter after shooter after shooter, and frankly, if you're not sick of shooter by now, you're probably new to gaming. And to up the Move? I can only say this, the Move and the Kinect are merely gimmicks that lose their appeal a few months after release. I say, screw all that and lets focus on producing real games. Look at the PS2 era. That was amazing. There were so many good games to choose from, and personally, I love the PS2 era for its long list of RPGs. However, I agree with the suggestion that Sony not ****ing over its customers by selling half@$$ed consoles with expensive add-ons.
I chose not to buy this due to the always-on DRM alone (not to mention the severe lack of customisation). Always-on DRM is a plain middle finger given to the players by Blizzard.
