blizzard forgot it was an always-online game... Not having enough servers to satisfy the needs of those few folks who actually bought the game the day it came out is a comprehensible mistake. Isnt it?
Well. Games do create a strong bound with the gamers. Even I feel like some games play such an important role in my life that I really get upset when someone criticises it or whatsoever... So I kind of understand that people attached to Bioware games get upset cos they are not getting what they want out of some games.... BUT, the guys that pass from that understandable upset to the pure hatred towards a developer, well.. are very very young, or just plain dumb (which often goes together). So this young vandals should not be considered at all.. And this girl, the developer, should understand it... I, for example, if I get verbally attack in the street or smth like that, I would get angry and consider interposing a demand... But if I get attacked through a chat.. and by stupid people... man! that is everyday s***! (no offend) She should not take those things seriously.... If you try to prosecute every internet hater you find, jails would get crowded in no time... Just, lets ignore these acts of hatred... After all, the can do you no harm.
there will be always people who think crappy games deserve a 10, and people who thinks awesome games deserve a 0. The truth is... don´t get into that nonsense. Everything is subjective! -as some philosopher said-. Just try the games by yourself.
everybody talking bout HL3... well, me too! I would like Valve to release HL: Episode 3 before a new g-engine. I just don´t like cutting the Episodes for such a long period of time. Then, they could release a HL 3 with new gen graphics, no problem.
I pray for the internet to be a free land forever... But, I am afraid one day the internet will be totally controlled and censored. Because nobody can stop the power of money. So guys, make extensive use of the web while it lasts... and then storytell the myth onto your children... though, they won´t believe such thing could have ever existed ;-)
