[QUOTE="GrandpaDeath"][QUOTE="marterikster"][QUOTE="GrandpaDeath"] I got one
If a tree falls in the woods and no one is around. does it make a sound?
_EvidencE_
yes it does
Sorry incorrect. Today's age in science, nothing is proven until hard evidence is there to support it, and without anyone there to hear it, the tree does not make a sound. You lose
That's gotta be the stupidest thing i've ever heard. Ofcourse it's going to make sound. Its a full grown ******* tree falling. Just cause no ones there doesn't mean its not going to make sound. Save your science and hard evidence crap. You lose.
it doesn't make a sound. In order for sound to occur there has to be a producer, a medium (something the sound travels through) and a receiver. If nobody is there to hear the tree falling, which is the producer, there is no receiver, so technically there is no sound. It is a philosophical question though, so there isn't really a "correct" answer unless the question asker is looking for a scientific explanation.
