The little bit at the end just reminded me of a thought that I always have when I see the GOTY results - I really wish that we get to actually listen to the staff's GOTY debate after the result is revealed. I would totally be down to sit through hours of arguing because I would no doubt find it a very simulating and interesting conversation to hear. But then again I can see reasons why such thing wouldn't be made public, e.g. it's Gamespot's GOTY and needs to preserve the award as having whole of Gamespot behind it.
There really needs to be a way to find all the gameplay episodes from the website's frontpage easily. Where did the culture tab go (not that gameplay was linked under it anyways)?
If you missed yesterday's stream, you can go to Kevin's twitch.tv channel and watch the recorded video there (here's a link for your convenience: http://www.twitch.tv/kevinvanord/b/329927652
Kevin is playing a female Norn Necromancer. He seemed to really enjoy the PvP (more than he enjoyed PvE, although he said that he's had fun there as well)
I am probably very different...I think it's ok to have the game's message be "no matter what you did it didn't really matter in the end". It's probably just the game developers being lazy but I actually think that's a very deep and interesting message. I mean, it's quite a popular theme that has been discussed in many literature works, the whole idea of choice vs fate, cycles of life, the feeling that maybe in the end, the universe has to come to a certain ending in some way. I feel that was what I got and I am ok with it. I'm probably overthinking everything like I normaly do, ha.
