Simple. The DS has a more vast library and has more quality games.

To set things straight, i own both PSP and DS Lite and impartial to both. On my PSP i see games with depth (gameplay wise), good graphics and sound, and my hands dont cramp. On my DS, i only truly enjoyed Pokemon pearl, mario kart, and Final fantasy IV. all the other games (nintendogs, brain quiz or whatever that was, pheonix ace attorney, COOKING MAMAz!?, nintendogs, and other bs games like that) pretty much blow. The DS reminds me of the Wii, full of shallow, gimmick filled games. I don't understand why the PSP is generally viewed as the lesser handheld in terms of games when it has top notch games such as crisis core, Wipeout, Twisted Metal, Monster Hunter (how did it get such a low score at gamespot), SOCOM, Syphon Filter, Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops, GTA, a buttload of great racing games, Disgea, Tekken, and an endless amount of sports games.

Am I missing something that explains how DS has "real" games?

Well, you dont speak for me. Between dental school, and excessive drinking, i havent played my xbox, ps3, or wii in a while. I only play xbox when friends are over, playing it by yourself sucks. I play ps3 for wipeout HD. I played Wii like twice. I still find starcraft to be the game that i go back to the most lol

Not only games, but everything including music, movies, and books are getting shorter. All these things are also getting crappier. So basically things are becoming worse in general.

Doesnt really matter. PSP has more than enough good games already. I think it has more good games (good games for a handheld that is) than the PS3, 360, and Wii have for consoles (Wii only has maybe 2 lol).

I havent played my PSP and especally DS in a while, but if PSP can add more twisted metals, SOCOMs, Monster Hunters, Wipeouts, Final Fantasys, and even more rpgs and action-adventures that it already has, that would be a good thing.
