I think ancient times in india and central asia. There would be Indian armies, Persian armies, Central Asian armies, middle eastern armies, and maybe they can throw some chinese armies in there, although the himilayas prevented a decent amount of contact between china and india/middle east. I personally think a total war taking place in china would be boring, as there isn't as much variety. And there would be no elephants lol.

Here is mine.

TV

This is a Pioneer Elite Kuro 60" TV, the macdaddy of TVs. The speakers are definitive technology speakers. In that black cabinet i got my PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox, PS2, PS1, N64, gamecube, and last and CERTAINLY least, my lame Wii. Sorry for the possibly bad picture quality lol

Man... it's true. Everybody on this forum IS stinking rich! Not just that, they've got the free time to sit on SW! I'd love to know what your jobs are :/

Look at my lame "set-up" on page 2

lol, I just finished my medical residency. Big ass TVs and an audi S5 really helped in getting me through that hellhole.

Your setup isnt bad, it works and has some nice speakers. At least u got a computer that plays games (i'm assuming), mine blows and cant play games like borderlands.

Luckily I dont play Final Fantasy games expecting fast paced, fun battles (it's pretty much turn based where the characters attack for you). I play Final Fantasy mainly for the great stories and this reviewer gave it 98/100. So if I share the same views as this reviewer, it should be a great game.

MrGrimFandango

Is this reply some kind of joke?

why do you think it's a joke? I think final fantasy games up to 8 had great stories. After 8, the stories got progressively worse, but they were still decent i guess. theres really no way to objectively rate a story as its based on preference. Also, im willing to bet that a majority of the people who like final fantasy games like them for their stories. I can't think of any other aspect of a final fantasy game that could have made final fantasy games GENERALLY considered among the best RPGs out there.

Unless FFXIII is as good as the final fantasy's up to 8, then I'd say mass effect 2 is the release of the year. All the zelda's after Majora's Mask were boring, Pokemon got progressively worse after Gold and Silver, GT5 doesnt have porsche, and God of War is good but cant really hold a candle to the Zelda, pokemon, FF, and bioware games. Of course I'm assuming based on trends, as none of these games came out yet.

Monster Hunter 3 shouldnt have been on the Wii. First of all a game of such a large scale would have been a lot more fun and appealing if you could have great graphics on a big HDTV. I can't imagine playing any of the monster hunters on a DS rather than the PSP, it wouldnt have been the same. Second of all, the PS3 would be much better suited control-wise. And last of all, the online play would be much better on a PS3 instead of the Wiis mediocre online. And besides, 1 million is no small number, especially considering the fact that it got released on the joke of a system known as Wii

[QUOTE="yoshi_64"] Of course I do, what did he do that was productive in any manner during those 40 hours? Did he help the economy by working? Did he help a person in need? Did he help the needy? Did he educate his mind on many glaring factors that need attention in this world? No? yoshi_64

You just wasted time posting that when you could've did something.

Why does everyone have to hate on everything? Either say something useful or don't say anything at all. I wish we would just have a nuclear war. Majority of people on this planet don't even deserve to live.

Do we always have to be nicey nice with everyone? Must the world never actually make critiques against mediocrity to improve? Or should we just disbelieve that our world it perfect, human kind is infallible, and we should never "hurt" ones feelings, be it as it may... criticism is the only way to better ones life. Don't try to put yourself on a pedestal above me believing that "Majority of people on this planet don't even deserve to live." How arrogant and cruel can you be? Seriously you value no life and view all forms of life different than your own as irrelevant to this world. That's quite shallow if I do say so. Open up your world to new heights and take a stand! Man yourself up! This world will not improve if everyone is always "playing nice" with everyone. That's a fool's mindset that will lose the war! Lastly, I may have wasted time with my post, but I'm bettering the life of those around me by educating them about criticism, and how it can be a positive influence if taken to heart and given some thought. Not retaliated like someone jammed a stick of beef jerky up your butt.

Your arguments are extremely flawed. First of all, what is considered a waste of time is subjective (relative). People have different ideas, different standards, different ideas of what constitutes wasting time. Second of all, just because he played 40 hours STRAIGHT makes it different than playing 40 in different intervals? I'm sure you have played 40 hours at different intervals. 23k posts??? Someone similar to yourself can easily label all the time you spend posting a "waste of time", even though it might not be a waste of time for you. There are many other problems with what you are saying from an objective, logical standpoint, but I don't want to "waste my time" here too long xD
