I'm hoping they mean each race will have its own beginning story line; I.e. Dragon Age: Origins. That was something that made Origins awesome. You got connected to your character. I played all of the origin stories in Origins, and generally ended up replaying most of the game with each character. The different races generally had different strengths. I believe Dragon Age: Origins is one of the most underrated games of recent memory.

Wow, Warren Spector really sounds like a little bitch. I'm actually excited for this title. IF it is done right! The fact that they are focusing solely on the single player, is a good sign, in my opinion. Every game does not need a multi-player component tacked on to it. I do want some dark, single-player experience. It'll be a nice change from the Call of Duty clones...

@Dante-xero In the video it states, "PRE-ALPHA GAME PLAY." Do you understand what that statement means? So it's not beta, not alpha; it's PRE-ALPHA. Though I'm sure the requirements will be high, and I hope they are. I want the best looking Total War ever. Not a COD style of update.

Awesome. To Dev's: "I want to see this in action, in engine, in gameplay. Not in a cut scene. This is what you should strive for. That will be all."

@Totoran I've been a PC enthusiast for around 12 years. I haven't bought a sound card in around the last 8 years. If you buy a decent motherboard at the start, on-board sound will be perfectly fine.
