The funny thing Is, I don't see the Xboxone or the PS4 doing any better in there first year or so of release. It's kind of a thing now that ever since the PS3 launch a console won't get very many noteworthy games until about the 3rd year that it's been available to the public, and if things keep going the way they are that might be too little and too late for any of the companies to really thrive

Why? I can review Pokemon X and Y right now without having ever played it. Here it is: It's like every other pokemon game since day one except now it's in 3D. Well.. there's your review.

@LordKaizer I disagree highly. I only had to play about an hour of Project X Zone to know how utterly boring and repetitive it was going to be. I think she hit the ball right out of the park with this review. The most important part of any game is it's gamplay, and when you are making a strategy RPG.. I expect there to actually be some STRATEGY involved... not a game that places characters on a grid for no reason before repeating the exact same attack animations from the first fight to the last. They would have been better off making this a fighting game... or any genre really other than a strategy RPG. From what I played (which admittedly wasn't much) They didn't even try and take advantage of the different character's unique abilities in anyway with the exception of their battle attacks.. which all look different but essentially act the same.

@lingo56 @AggrandizedUser

I have the exact opposite opinion,I found Half-life 1 to be the far superior game in every respect (except graphics of course). Half-Life 2 was nothing but valve screaming 'Look! we made a physics engine' with some of the worst car driving controls I've ever played with,not to mention the gravity gun took all the fun and strategy out of using your fire arms effectively. The pacing was bad and the atmosphere was dull. The only truly enjoyable part of Half-life 2 was Ravenholm.

The best way to examine which game is better is to play the fan made Black Mesa 'remake' of the original Half-life in the Half-Life 2 engine... it really goes to show how much better the original game was in tone, puzzle design, combat, atmosphere and platforming.

@C8M The difference here is that Nintendo actually still has some integrity as a company.. microsoft has proven time and time again that they only care about themselves and money.

P.S. - This is coming from someone who in all honesty mostly sticks to sony consoles so I am not biased to either the side of Nintendo or Microsoft... so put your 'hater or fanboy' hats away because neither apply here.

No they wouldn't... because they are partnered with the MPAA, and the MPAA already owns are government... remember all of the internet bills that were made as bills for the US government? And Cispa actually passed. The law means nothing if you have enough money... especially when you are partnered with the people that MAKE the laws.

@NARUtotheFISH @Xx_Kares_xX @aldronlin I.. don't even know how to respond to the level of intelligence in your post x.x What is your basis for this? The mass intellect of the engineers there? The amount of money microsoft has? Because there are bigger organizations with more money than Microsoft. And if you were a skilled enough hacker you could destroy the entire interface of the internet and everything on it with a computer running Dos.... so money has very little to do with destroying the fabric of our society...

@pspearman @Xx_Kares_xX @icemanmanic Because people in power have a history of NEVER abusing it ever. Facebook doesn't sell our information to people right? Microsoft has NEVER tried to take advantage of people in the past and they CERTAINLY wouldn't want to do more of it now when they have the technology in place.
