XBL to use user dedicated servers

So XBL users pay Microsoft an annual fee for peer to peer matchmaking, and have to provide their own dedicated servers? Isn't this the equivelant of going to a restaurant, paying for dinner but having to cook the dinner yourself and provide your own silverware, glasses and plates?

Bluray001

Dude, your just trolling. Where is the proof?

Yea I know. Which is why I say, I wonder if these soldiers realize what is really going on and how they are being misused.

Of course, for one to speak against his/her military and the policies that dictate how they are used isn't something that is very popular.

_R34LiTY_

What exactly do you find the military to be doing wrong? Attempting to rid a country of insurgents that target civilians?

The facade of promoting "Democracy", when the Iraqi's never asked for the USs intervention. We should just leave them the hell alone and focus on our own issues instead of being an advertisement for what this American population believes should be a perfect world.

There is a reason why America is hated amongst the nations of the globe, and USA being a "free nation" is the least of their concerns as to why we are hated.

Well said, any naysayers should read Stephen Kinzer's OVERTHROW, check out ifamericansknew.org and look at the real reasons that the US is despised around the globe.around the globe.

One way ticket to GITMO!

CombatHigh

Guantanamo? He didn't poison a water supply, or blow something up, he just killed a man.

You do not understand his fascist reply, he means he should get sent to Guantanamo because he is of the Islamic faith.

I just upgraded from two 8800GT's (Sli) to a Sapphire Radeon HD 4850 X2 2GB and I'm actually loving this card.

I wrote a review on newegg.com, look for "Xerran", as of now its the 4th post down or if your too lazy check below.

Pros: I play tested the games listed below at a native resolution of 1680x1050 with all the graphical settings maxed out and got absolutely great frames, the only exception was "Crysis" which I had to set to HIGH.

Play tested (DX10/10.1 & x64 where possible) -->>
Assassins Creed, Burnout Paradise, Company of Heroes, Crysis, Crysis: Warhead, Dawn of War 2, Devil May Cry 4, Far Cry 2, Left 4 Dead, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Team Fortress 2, Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X (DX10.1 demo) and Unreal Tournament 3.

Intelligent power management.
Good temps at idle and load.
Acceptable fan noise at default setting.

Overall, I'm extremely pleased and love this card in Vista x64 and Ubuntu 8.10 x64, the card installed in both installations without any hiccups. Ubuntu 8.10 x64 offered drivers ready to install upon first booting of the OS and they work great.

Cons: No waterblocks available for this card, only rumors on forums.
Fans are ridiculously loud at manual high settings.

Other Thoughts: CURRENT SYSTEM SPECS-->>
AMD Phenom II X4 940 Black Edition @ 3.4GHz (x17 multiplier)

I've really enjoyed the use of this mouse from Microsoft:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826105148

It's a 5 button mouse and 90% of all games I play support all the buttons. I have one of these mice at my work, I've had it for about 3 years now and it still works just as good as the day I first got it.

Just a suggection.

neatfeatguy

That mouse you suggested is not a gaming mouse.

I can whole heartedly recommend the Microsoft Sidewinder X5. I'm done with Logitech after having a few die on me.

I'm using mine in Vista x64 with x64 drivers and its an awesome mouse.

Run, dont walk to your nearest game fix supplier and purchase "The Withcer Enhanced Edition" right now.

When you get it be sure to install the blood patch.
